Although the trails are intended to be fun for everyone, they might be too challenging for children on their own. For safety reasons, it is recommended that children younger than 16 be accompanied by at least one adult.

Our outdoor trails are designed to take you on a walking, clue-solving quest, of 1 to 3 hours. This is highly dependent on your group members, though. If you are a group of adults only or with older children, you may be able to finish sooner. If you are a family with toddlers or tweens, you know that there can be multiple meltdowns to take into consideration.
Have a look at the game details, as some of our games also allow for a break.
For Outdoor Trails, a maximum of 20 teams can play on any given date. This is to ensure that the experience is enjoyable for everyone and that locations along the trail do not become overcrowded. Each team will have its own unique login PIN code and the organiser of the day can stagger the starting times of the teams.

The games involve a lot of walking. The closer you are to your due date, the less likely it is that you will enjoy it. But, it is totally up to you.
A minimum of one player and a maximum of six players can be added per trail. If there are more than six players per game, the experience is diluted as not each player can contribute to solving clues. Therefore, if you are seven or more players, it is recommended to divide into two groups as it allows everyone to be fully involved in the trail. Challenge each other and compare notes afterwards.
Our games are typically $20 per team. This is for a whole team of up to 6 players.
After purchasing a trail, you (the group leader) will receive a welcome email (and text) with initial instructions including a link to your game’s interface and a login PIN code to activate the trail. Follow the link and enter the PIN code. The first message in the game interface will prompt you to start the trail when you are ready.
Outdoor trails should be started in the recommended time range. Thus, a trail listed as ‘Starting times: Everyday 9:00 to 18:00’ can be played on any day and should be started within the specified times. The latest start time is based on the assumption that you will not take longer than the estimated duration (e.g. 2 hours) – however, if you wish to play at a leisurely pace or if your group includes children, start at least 1 – 2 hours before the latest start time.
Go to the trail page that you are interested in. Here you will see the running times. Online trails can be played anytime anywhere. Outdoor trails have a time range for the day within which you can start your trail. This is mainly to avoid playing in the dark.
After you have made your purchase, you will receive an Order Confirmation e-mail and a Game PIN email. If you provided a phone number, you will also receive an SMS with your trail details.
