For up to six group members, you can use the same login PIN. Tell your team members to visit the “GAME/TRAIL LOGIN” link at the top of the page. You will also see your Trail PIN in the top left corner of your game interface.

More than six players dilute the experience due to all team members not being able to participate fully. If you are more than six players, we recommend that you book an additionaltrail and divide into separate groups each with its own group leader.

How do I start a trail?2021-08-05T23:44:26+00:00

After purchasing a trail, you (the group leader) will receive a welcome email (and text) with initial instructions including a link to your game’s interface and a login PIN code to activate the trail. Follow the link and enter the PIN code. The first message in the game interface will prompt you to start the trail when you are ready.

Outdoor trails should be started in the recommended time range. Thus, a trail listed as ‘Starting times: Everyday 9:00 to 18:00’ can be played on any day and should be started within the specified times. The latest start time is based on the assumption that you will not take longer than the estimated duration (e.g. 2 hours) – however, if you wish to play at a leisurely pace or if your group includes children, start at least 1 – 2 hours before the latest start time.

How does the ‘break’ work?2021-08-05T23:42:08+00:00

Some of our trails have a break included. The break is automatically activated once you have successfully completed half of the trail. If the trail is indicated to take 2 hours, the break will roughly be after one hour, but this depends on how well your group is doing with solving the clues. During the break/breather, you may enjoy your self-packed snacks and drinks, or you may head over to a nearby cafe, restaurant, or pub of your choice. After the break, the trail will continue. If you would like to continue before you reach the end of the break, send ‘continue’ on the trail interface.

Most of our Online Tames do not have a break.

How long will the experience last?2021-08-05T23:11:53+00:00

Our outdoor trails are designed to take you on a walking, clue-solving quest, of 1 to 3 hours. This is highly dependent on your group members, though. If you are a group of adults only or with older children, you may be able to finish sooner. If you are a family with toddlers or tweens, you know that there can be multiple meltdowns to take into consideration.

Have a look at the game details, as some of our games also allow for a break.

How many teams can be booked at any one time?2021-08-05T23:54:10+00:00

For Outdoor Trails, a maximum of 20 teams can play on any given date. This is to ensure that the experience is enjoyable for everyone and that locations along the trail do not become overcrowded. Each team will have its own unique login PIN code and the organiser of the day can stagger the starting times of the teams.

What do I need to bring on my trail?2021-08-05T23:37:18+00:00

Fully charged phones, comfortable shoes, weather-appropriate clothes, and your thinking caps ;-). Trails are played via your phone browser which requires mobile data and/or WiFi. No need to worry about data consumption, a full game will not take more data than a few messages on WhatsApp or visiting a web page.

You may also consider bringing along your own snacks and drinks if you do not wish to purchase anything during the trail.

What is the minimum/maximum group size?2021-08-05T23:07:03+00:00

A minimum of one player and a maximum of six players can be added per trail. If there are more than six players per game, the experience is diluted as not each player can contribute to solving clues. Therefore, if you are seven or more players, it is recommended to divide into two groups as it allows everyone to be fully involved in the trail. Challenge each other and compare notes afterwards.

What is the price of a trail?2021-08-05T22:47:51+00:00
